Paracetamol, Over the counter medicines & Supplements
The cost to the NHS of prescribing medications that can be purchased inexpensively over the counter is enormous. For that reason paracetamol, cold remedies, muscle rubs, vitamin and mineral supplements such as vitamin D, and hay fever medication are no longer prescribed by your GP.
